0)Please tell us, what is your role (in the VPN company, where do you stand, owner, marketer, advertiser etc)?

Sole owner.

1) Does VPNArea keep any logs, IP Addresses, Timestamps, Bandwidth caps, Traffic or other data?

We do not log. Data retention logs don’t apply to a VPN company in our jurisdiction.

2) What type of Encryption do you use?

AES 128bits, AES 256bits, and BlowFish-CBC

3) Where are your servers located and what jurisdiction do you operate under?

We have Physical servers in 40+ countries, with best servers:customers ratio in industry – 1:3 (never oversold).
Our network grows every month. In December ’13 we added 3 new countries and 14 new servers in total.

We operate under the jurisdiction of Bulgaria. Our web site and emails are physically hosted in Switzerland.

4) How do you generally handle requests from law enforcement and copyright agencies?

We will cooperate as little as possible and only if there is a court order. By doing a google search you can find out which vpn providers have cooperated with authorities, we haven’t.

However if you’re looking for a safe haven to commit fraud, spam, hacking, illegal pornography or harm others, please go elsewhere.

5) Do you have access to all your servers, and does the datacenter you use log?

We administer our own servers and we are the only people who have access to all servers. We use shared IPs, data-center logging sees encrypted traffic that could belong to anybody currently
connected. For that and other reasons we have USERS ONLINE feature, which allows you to see if other people are connected to particular server. This way you can choose a server that has other people inside. Or the opposite, you can choose a server with 0 users connected to get all the speed for yourself.

6) Does your service support bittorrent?

Yes. On servers that run in data centers with aggressive DMCA compliance we have filtered famous torrent trackers, such as many servers in USA and UK. More than 50% of our servers don’t have such filters.
